Loving Mother, Caregiver, Woman of Strength

Anna C. Fusco, 92, of Wolcott, CT, was called forth to Heaven's eternal life on Friday, April 14, 2017, one month after her ninety-second birthday on March 16.  She will be kept alive in the heart of her only child, Loisann Fusco, also of Wolcott. 

Anna was a loving mother, providing her daughter unconditional love, sage guidance and support.  She was a caregiver extraordinaire to both her mother, "Molly," and husband, Louis, for many years, and a woman of great strength.  Family was key in Anna's kind, gentle life. 

Anna enters Heaven to be reunited with family members whom she loves -- her husband Louis and her loving parents Tommaso (“Tom”) and Carmela (Celentano) Caviasca; also, her brother Salvatore Caviasca; sister-in-law Sophie Caviasca, and several aunts and uncles. 

Anna's memory lives on not only in the heart of her daughter Lois, but also her younger brother Michael Caviasca and her nephew and Godson Kenneth Caviasca and his family, all of Phoenix, AZ; her nephew Michael Caviasca of Providence, Rhode Island; her niece Judy Martone; and great nieces Lisa Baron, Lynn Secula, Dina Shepard and their families, all of Wolcott, CT.

Anna and her daughter wish to thank Anna's nephrologist, Dr. Sina Raissi, and his staff in Middlebury for their exemplary care over many years, as well as the Campion ambulance drivers, Wolcott Ambulance EMTs and pharmacy staff at Rite Aid on Meriden Road for their caring service.  A special thank you to her 3 longtime caregivers Brie, Jane and Millie and to Hospice Nurse Maria McCoy.

A celebration of Anna’s life, will take place on Thursday, April 20, 2017, at Colasanto Funeral Home, 932 Bank Street in Waterbury, from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., followed by an 11 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Waterbury presided over by Msgr.
