Loving Friend and Godmother

Anne D. Hurban, 86, of Waterbury, passed away peacefully at St. Mary’s Hospital (VITAS) on February 9, 2017.

Anne was born in Waterbury on December 8, 1930.  She was the loving daughter of Peter Paul Hurban and Adele (Della) E. (Grigonis) (Hurban) Rabuska.

She enjoyed working at Waterbury Undergarment, Universal Rubber Shop in Naugatuck, and Southbury Training School, from where she retired.

Anne leaves behind her godson, Kevin Wills, her goddaughter, Kimberly Wills Rinaldi, and her best friend, Maryann Magnotti.

The funeral will be held on Saturday, February 18, at 10:00 am, at Colasanto Funeral Home, 932 Bank St., Waterbury, to St. Joseph’s Parish, 46 Congress Ave., for a Mass at 11:30 am.  Burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Anne’s name to St. Joseph’s Parish, care of St. Patrick’s Church, 50 Charles Street, Waterbury, CT, 06708.
