Mrs. Josephine A. (Calo) Angelicola

Josephine A. Angelicola was born on May 4, 1930, and made her way to Heaven on October 15, 2017, at the age of 87.

She was married to the late Anthony F. Angelicola Sr.  for 67 years. She was the daughter of the late Tobias and Nancy Calo.

Josephine was a graduate of Waterbury Catholic High School. She was a life-long parishioner of St. Patrick’s Church, in Waterbury.  She worked for more than 40 years at Mercury Fuel Inc. as a bookkeeper, and helped her husband Ron, at Brass City Paving, in Waterbury.  Josephine was a very religious, extremely loving and giving woman.  Anyone who knew her, loved her dearly.  She will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her only son, Anthony Angelicola Jr., and her five grandchildren, Tony III, Nicole, Joseph, Michael, and Brian. and also her great grandson, Joey, whom she adored, her sister Emma Amodio, her special neighbors, who were like  family, many nieces and nephews, godchildren, and friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 9:00am on Saturday, October 21, 2017, at St. Patrick’s Church 50 Charles St. Waterbury. Burial to follow in All Saints Cemetery.
