Loving Wife, Mother, and Grandmother
Lucille M. (DiBartolomeo) Coviello, 80, passed away on April 20, 2017, at St. Mary's Hospital, Waterbury, CT. She was the loving wife of Kenneth Coviello.
Lucille was born in Waterbury on December 22, 1936, the daughter of the late Natale and Anna (DiDonato) DiBartolomeo.
She was a communicant of St. Patrick's Church.
As a loving Wife and Mother, Lucille chose to dedicate herself and her life to her family and home.
Lucille leaves behind her husband of almost 57 years, Kenneth, and four children: Lisa Clark and her husband, Christopher, and Catherine Coviello, all of Waterbury, Susan Cerasale and her husband, Steven, of Prospect, and Michael Coviello and his husband, Navarun Gupta, of Bridgeport.
She also leaves behind eight grandchildren: Jaclyn and John Clark, Annie, Christopher, and Abby Townsend, Allison, Erica, and Caitlyn Cerasale, and one great-grandchild, Etta Townsend. Also, she leaves three sisters: Claudine Swanson, of Florida, Mary Garbauskas, of Waterbury, and Josephine Anderson, of Naugatuck, and three sister-in-laws: Karen Coviello and Val Bartolomeo, both of Waterbury, and Bertha DiBartolomeo, of Southington, and many nieces and nephews.
Lucille is predeceased by her brothers Domenic, Frederick, and Eugene DiBartolomeo, and her sister, Rose Olson.
Calling hours are from 8:30 am - 9:30 am, on Thursday, April 27, 2017, at Colasanto Funeral Home, 932 Bank St., Waterbury, to St. Patrick's Church, 50 Charles St., for a 10 am. Mass of Christian Burial, followed by burial at Calvary Cemetery.
