Vincent James (Jim) DeMeis, of Watertown, passed away into eternal rest on Wednesday, October 12, 2016, at his home.
Vincent was born on September 27, 1974 he was the son of, Joseph and Donna Arcovio DeMeis and loving father of Kamri DeMeis.
Jim graduated from Watertown High School and the University of Connecticut with a B.S. in Sports Medicine. He worked for Access Rehab in Waterbury as a Certified Athletic Trainer and a Certified Cancer Exercise Trainer. He also worked at Westover School as a Coach for the Girls Softball Team.
He was an All State baseball player at Watertown High School and received a scholarship to Keene State for baseball. He was an avid Yankee fan.
In addition to his parents and daughter he is survived by his sister, Jeni DeMeis Shean, her husband John and their children, JT, Kristina and Breanna, his brother, Jason DeMeis and his wife Thu and brother, Joseph DeMeis. He also leaves behind two grandmothers, Margaret DeMeis and Josephine Arcovio along with several aunts and uncles.
He was predeceased by both of his grandfathers, Vincent DeMeis and Rockie Arcovio.
A funeral service will be held on Friday October 14, 2016 at 9am from Colasanto Funeral Home, 932 Bank St. Waterbury, to St. Johns Evangelist Church, 574 Main St.
Watertown for a Mass of Christen Burial at 10am. Burial will follow to Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, October 13, 2016, from 5pm to 8pm at the funeral Home.
