Virginia (Battistelli) DiBartolomeo

Virginia DiBartolomeo, 94, of Waterbury, passed away on April 30, 2017, at St. Mary’s Hospital. She was the wife of the late Natale DiBartolomeo.

She was born in Provincia di Pescara, Italy, on September 22, 1922, the daughter of the late Giuseppe and Pasqua (DeSanctis) Battistelli.

Virginia loved to garden and cook. She will be greatly missed by her family.

She is survived by her many nieces and nephews in Italy.

Virginia was predeceased by two brothers, and five sisters.

 A funeral service will be held at 9:00 am, on Tuesday, May 9, 2017, from Colasanto Funeral Home 932 Bank St. Waterbury, to Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 785 Highland Ave, Waterbury, for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am. Burial to follow, in Calvary Cemetery. Family and friends may call at the funeral home from 9 am to 10 am, on Tuesday, May 9, 2017.
