Ann M. (Marchitella) Stanco

Ann M. Stanco, 87, of Waterbury, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 30, 2018, at Masonicare Health Center in Wallingford.  She was the loving wife of Ernest N. Stanco.

She was born in Waterbury, on March 2, 1931, daughter of the late John and Jessie (Errico) Marchitella.

Ann worked at St. Mary’s Hospital in the payroll Department for many years, and was a parishioner of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church.

She is survived by her three children; two daughters, Dorianne M. Stanco, and Maria J. Stanco, both of Waterbury, her son, David E. Stanco and his wife, Vicki K. Stanco, of Broad Brook, CT., her three grandchildren; Alexandra M. Stanco, David M. Stanco, of Broad Brook, and Christina M. Stanco of Wilbraham, MA., and her great-grandchild, Linda Stanco of Wilbraham, MA., as well as several nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank the caring and skillful staff at Masonicare for their dedicated care and kindness, especially the nurses and aides that provided Home Care.

A funeral Service will be held at 9:30 am, on Thursday, May 3, 2018, from Colasanto Funeral Home, 932 Bank St., Waterbury, to Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 785 Highland Ave, Waterbury, for a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am. Burial to follow in Calvary Cemetery. Family and friends may call at the funeral home from 9:30 am to 10:30 am, on Thursday, May 3, 2018.
