Bernard Marcil Obituary

 

Bernard L. Marcil, 92, of Quebec, Canada, passed away peacefully, on Thursday, March 28, 2019. He was the loving husband of the late Claire (Desautels) Marcil.

He was born in Sainte-Helene-de-Bagot, Quebec, Canada, on June 30, 1926, son of the late Louis and Cedia (Leduc) Marcil.

Grandpa was a loving and caring man who loved to do many things; like square dancing, bowling, playing golf, and eating Staci's homemade macaroni and cheese. He also loved his weekly dates after church with his wife at Burger King, where they both enjoyed Whoppers. They also loved to travel together.

He leaves behind four granddaughters Staci Marcil, Tammie Lung, Jamie Parsons and Shannon Marcil all of Florida. He also leaves behind nine great-grandchildren.

He is predeceased by his son, Richard Marcil, and his daughter, Marie Byrne.

 A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 AM, on Tuesday, April 16, 2019, at Colasanto Funeral Home, 932 Bank St. Waterbury. Friends and family may call on Tuesday, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, with a Prayer Service at 10:30 AM.  Burial to follow in Calvary Cemetery.
