Julia T (Graziano) Barbino, 99, of Southington, the beloved wife of the late Joseph V. Barbino passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 6th, at The Summit at Plantsville.
She was born in Waterbury CT on April 2nd, 1920 the daughter of the late Angelo and Antoinette (Mafatone) Graziano.
Julia was a long time resident of Waterbury prior to moving to Southington, CT in 2004. She was formerly employed at Timex Corporation for 26 years.
She is survived by her son, Joseph A. Barbino ,and his wife Nancy of Plantsville, CT, three grandchildren, Joseph R. Barbino, Annmarie Volpert, Kristine Calamari and her husband Brian, 6 great grandchildren, Evan and Tyler Volpert , Sophia and Rocco Barbino , Alana and Gianna Calamari, her brother, Angelo (Charlie) Graziano, and many nieces and nephews.
Julia was predeceased by her five bothers, Dominic, Thomas, Albert, Arthur, Anthony and her four sisters, Josephine, Gloria, Ella, and Sarah.
The family would like to thank the staff at the Summit of Plantsville for their care and compassion during her stay.

Family and friends are invited to attend the funeral at 9:30am, on Wednesday, October 9, 2019, at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 785 Highland Avenue Waterbury for a Mass of Christian Burial. The family will be gathering at the church at 9:00am. Family and friends may call at the church from 9:00am to 9:30am.
Interment will take place at Calvary Cemetery, 2324 E. Main Street, Waterbury, following the Mass.
