Marie Nicole (LeRose) Guisto

Marie Nicole Guisto, 91, of Waterbury, passed away on January 11, 2020, at St. Mary's Hospital. She was the wife of the late Joseph Guisto.

She was born in Waterbury, on November 25, 1928, the loving daughter of Frank and Elizabeth (Marzano) LeRose.

Marie's happiest times were when she and her family gathered close for Sunday dinners and the holidays. She enjoyed reading a good book, doing a challenging jigsaw puzzle, and crocheting baby blankets and other beautiful pieces for her family.

She is survived by her six children: Carol (John) Keaveney, Joseph (Joan) Guisto, Marie (Jeffrey) Scanlon, Louis (Donna) Guisto, and Michael (Jean) Guisto, and Elizabeth Guisto, her 12 grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters, Marguerite Stoto and Phyllis Griswold.

Besides her husband, Marie is predeceased by her siblings, William and Frank LeRose, Dorothy Parisi, and Evelyn DiFloria.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00am, on Friday, January 17, 2020, at St. Peter and Paul Church, 67 Southmayd Rd., Waterbury, Friends and Family are asked to meet directly at the church. Burial to follow at Mount Olivet Cemetery, 669 Platt Rd., Watertown.
