Kenneth St. Germain Obituary

Kenneth St. Germain, 61, of Waterbury  passed away peacefully at home, on March 30, 2020.

He was born on May 13, 1958  to George E. St. Germain and Leila (Weaver) St. Germain. Ken was a unique individual who always wanted to make his friends and family laugh. He was a very sociable individual, and had a keen sense of humor. He will be remembered for his jokes, and the ability to make light of any situation.

Ken, aka “Kenny,” was the head mechanic for Heritage Village in Southbury from 1988, until his retirement in 2014. He was admired for his expertise on vehicles, and people trusted his advice.  Ken was a jack of all trades, and would take on any project. He loved working with his hands, especially on his cars.

Ken loved going for rides on his Harley Davidson motorcycle, cooking, and being outdoors - especially camping. Ken also was passionate about all different genres of music, and liked to go dancing on the weekends.

Ken is survived by his two children, Michelle and Kenneth St. Germain, his daughter-in-law, Susan, his granddaughter, Lennox, his brother, Arthur St. Germain of Waterbury, CT, his sister Mary Levay, of Waterbury, CT, and his former spouse, Sharon L Struber, as well as many nieces and nephews.

“Dad, thank you for making me stronger each day. Although death took you away from me it made our relationship as close as ever. I was honored to be by your side, and be on the journey with you until the last days of your life. Thank you for challenging me, and I miss your free spirit and boldness already. I love you always, Michelle.”
