Pasqualina Ferrare, 97, of Waterbury, passed away on January 2, 2021, at St. Mary's Hospital. She was the wife of the late Daniel Ferrare.
She was born in Waterbury on March 24, 1923, the daughter of Giovanni and Nicolina (Mascia) Cuifalo.
Pasqualina attended Tinker Elementary School and Levenworth High School, graduating in 1941. She attended St. Mary's School of Nursing, and after graduating in 1945 as a Registered Nurse, she went on to practice Nursing at St. Mary's Hospital in Waterbury, CT.
Pasqualina enjoyed going to lunch with her nurse friends that she graduated with, and later in life, she enjoyed going to breakfast at PaBa's Dinner with Joan Nalband. She absolutely loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her sons: Daniel Ferrare and his wife, Bonnie, and Tom Ferrare and his partner, Thomas Nalband. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Daniel (Shana) Ferrare, Jr., William (Amy) Ferrare, Jennifer (Ryan) Casey, her great-grandchildren: Hayes, Madison, Brooke, and Jake Ferrare, and also several nieces and nephews.
Besides her husband, she was predeceased by her brother, Anthony Cuifalo, and her sister, Rose Salerno.
