Patricia Julia (Warner) Romel

Patricia “PJ” Warner Romel, age 63, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 14, 2021, in her home. She was the Beloved Mother of Ashley and Matthew Welton.

PJ was born on March 6, 1958, in Waterbury, CT, the daughter of the late Richard and Patricia (Paffney) Warner.  She was a 1978 graduate of Kennedy High School, and later opened up her own successful hair styling salon - "PJ's Hair Studio."

She was a loving mother, and in her spare time loved cooking, gardening, dancing, listening to music, the beach, and spending time with her children and her precious dog, “Bubba”.  PJ was funny, social, and loved to take care of others. She loved telling stories, and was the life of the party, especially at the disco.

PJ is survived by her daughter, Ashley Welton, and her son, Matthew Welton. She also leaves her brother, Bruce Warner (wife Linda) of Orange County, CA, and her three sisters, Diane Potter of Waterbury, Lynn Musto (husband Tony) of Middlebury, and Lori Warner of Waterbury, and her loving nieces and nephews, who include Jillian Fernandez (husband Lee) of Middlebury, Lauren, Tiffany, and Briana Warner of CA, and Michael Musto of Middlebury. PJ was also a great aunt to Jackson and Isabella Fernandez of Middlebury.

A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, March 20, 2021, from 1:00 pm, to 3:00 pm, at Colasanto Funeral Home, 932 Bank, St., Waterbury.
