Rose B. Faiia, 99, of Dover, N.H., passed away peacefully on January 17, 2022. She was the wife of the late Anthony Henry Faiia. The family resided for many years on Bennett Ave., in Town Plot.
Born in Waterbury, CT., on April 2, 1922, she was the fourth of five children born to Anthony and Palma (LaSpina) Barbino.
She was a graduate of Wilby High School, and attended the University of Connecticut. She worked as an accountant in Washington D.C. during the war, and in the comptroller office for the City of Waterbury. Later, she worked at Tinker school teaching young children, who, over the years, enjoyed many of Rose's amazing cookies. Rose volunteered for 15 years at Waterbury Hospital, where she was a member of the Evergreen Club. Rose and Tony loved dancing, and they were members of the Cha Rum Club.
She is survived by her four sons, ten grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. Rose's family includes: Mr. James A. Faiia and his wife, Dr. Marcoux Faiia, of Rye, N.H., and their sons, Dr. Anthony Faiia and Mr. James Faiia, of Tennessee, Mr. A. Scott Faiia and his wife Sharmila (Shahi) Faiia, of Hampton Falls, N.H. and Kathmandu, Nepal, and their children, Ms. Shanti Faiia, of Bath, England, Attorney Ravi Faiia and his wife Dr. Lydia (Barlow) Faiia, and great-grandchildren, Henry and Caroline, of Concord, Mass, and Mr. Santosh Faiia, of Kathmandu, Nepal, Mr. Mark A. Faiia and his son, Mr. Mark Faiia Jr., of Lynn, Mass, and Teresa (Faiia) Zoller's children, Mr. Michael Zoller and Mr. Conor Zoller, both of Watertown, Ms. Jena Rose Zoller, of Troy, Maine, Mr. David A. Faiia and his wife Christian (Mock) Faiia, and their son, Mr. Easton Faiia, of Newmarket, N.H. and California. She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews.
Her beloved daughter, Teresa (Faiia) Zoller, predeceased her mother, Rose.
Rose was also predeceased by her parents, her husband, and all her siblings: Joseph Barbino, Angelo Barbino, and Frank Barbino, all of Waterbury, and also her sister, Mary (Barbino) Commendatore, of Smithfield, R. I.
Rose lived a long, full life, and was loved. Her presence will always be with her family.

A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, January 21, 2022, at Colasanto Funeral Home, 932 bank St., Waterbury, CT. Family and friends may call between 9:00am, to 11:30am. Bural to follow at Calvary Cemetery, 2324 E. Main St., Waterbury CT.
