Steven McCormack Obituary

Steven M. McCormack, 74, of Waterbury, passed away peacefully at home, on April 14, 2022. He was the loving husband of Sally S. (Stokes) McCormack for 53 years.

Steven was born on March 19, 1948, in Hartland, Maine, the son of Murray L. and Francis (Wilson) McCormack.

He retired from Torrco, in Waterbury, after working for 28 years as an Inside Salesman.

Steve was well-respected and loved by his family. He had a unique ability to solve heating, air conditioning, and mechanical issues. His nephew, David, always enjoyed being able to call "Mr. Goodwrench." He enjoyed spending time at the Thomaston Fish and Game Club, trapshooting and enjoying adult beverages with his friends.

Steve will be truly missed by his friends and family.

Besides his loving wife, he leaves behind his niece, Cathy Lukeski, and his nephew, David Prill and wife, Ivetta. In addition, he also leaves behind great-nephews David and Andy Lukeski, and great-nieces, Trisha (Prill) Himmel and Maria Lapkina.

The family would like to extend their appreciation to the staff of New Haven Hospital and Hospice, for their exceptional care given to Steven.
