I am very sorry for your loss. The first time I met Frank, I could tell he was the type of friend I would be honored to have.

Thank you George. Frank mentioned the same thing about you. It is too bad we didn’t get to spend some time together.

My deepest sympathy for your loss. I worked with Frank at the IRS. He was a great mentor to me. He always walked around with a smile on his face and would help anyone. Frank was a wonderful person and I'm glad I had the chance to meet him and get to know him.

That is the way Frank was his whole life. He was a real teacher. He was always happy to share the knowledge he had gained over the years.

Hi Al, Thank you for your warm wishes. It was a shock as Frank seemed to be good health. We were enjoying our retirement. We have been married 37 years. Time flies.
I have seen Ed Cole and others at Saint Joseph Church gatherings.

Not only was Frank a co-worker with me at IRS, but he was a good friend, mentor, role model, and support for me personally. We had many laughs and serious discussions about everything from work to family issues during our commutes together. I made it a point to try to visit Frank anytime I was close by CT after he retired to stay in touch and see how his new life was for him and Suzanne. He loved his family very much and his grandson was extremely important to him. He told me last year when I saw him that he finally decided to visit the Home country after years of contemplating it because you never know how long you will be around, so there is no point in waiting any longer. I’m happy that he was able to take that trip and he said it was fantastic so that should be a lesson to all of us to not wait to do the things that are important. I am sorry for your loss. Frank went too soon and I will miss him a tremendous amount.

Thank you George for posting your memories of Frank. His grandson will gain insight into who his grandfather was in the coming years. He was a very good person and had gained a wealth of knowledge and experience.
