He enjoyed mentoring you Fangpei. He continued helping / teaching people in his retirement. He also kept learning. We took several classes in the Lithuanian language. He was half Lithuanian. His family and I will miss him greatly.

Not only was Frank a co-worker with me at IRS, but he was a good friend, mentor, role model, and support for me personally. We had many laughs and serious discussions about everything from work to family issues during our commutes together. I made it a point to try to visit Frank anytime I was close by CT after he retired to stay in touch and see how his new life was for him and Suzanne. He loved his family very much and his grandson was extremely important to him. He told me last year when I saw him that he finally decided to visit the Home country after years of contemplating it because you never know how long you will be around, so there is no point in waiting any longer. I’m happy that he was able to take that trip and he said it was fantastic so that should be a lesson to all of us to not wait to do the things that are important. I am sorry for your loss. Frank went too soon and I will miss him a tremendous amount.

Thank you George for posting your memories of Frank. His grandson will gain insight into who his grandfather was in the coming years. He was a very good person and had gained a wealth of knowledge and experience.
