Joan C. (DeLucia) Squatriglia

Joan C. (DeLucia) Squatriglia, 74, of Waterbury, the Beloved Wife of Raymond F.  Squatriglia, Sr., passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 2, 2019, at Waterbury Hospital.

She was born on January 14, 1945, in Waterbury, CT, the daughter of the late John and Nancy (DeMeis) DeLucia.

Joan was a longtime resident of Waterbury prior to moving to Naugatuck, CT in 1969. She was formerly employed at Uniroyal, the Town of Naugatuck (Tax Office & Registrar of Voters), and CHCP.

Joan is survived by her husband, Raymond F. Squatriglia, Sr., son, Raymond F. Squatriglia, Jr. and Shannon T. Squatriglia, son, Douglas Squatriglia and  Jamie Squatriglia, her two grandchildren, Dorothy and Grant, and her brother  Vincent DeLucia.

The family would like to thank Audra, Jen, Lindsey, and Alicia (caregivers) for the wonderful care and compassion they showed, and gave, to Joan.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial being held at 10:00 am, on Saturday, November 9, 2019, at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 785 Highland Avenue, Waterbury. A Memorial Gathering will follow immediately after Mass in the Church Hall, located on the premises.
