Patricia (Parent) Mucciacciaro

Patricia Mucciacciaro, 64, of Waterbury, passed away peacefully on August 4, 2018, at St. Mary's Hospital "VITAS”. She was the loving wife of Robert Mucciacciaro.

She was born in Waterbury, on June 10, 1954, daughter of the late Albert and Corona (Longe) Parent.

Pat was a wonderful and supportive wife to Bob, and an amazing mother to Jenny and Robby. She was a friend and loving sister to Jeanne, Roland, Rachel, and Alice, and also an awesome Memere to her little Sophia Claire.

She was known to her many nieces and nephews as the “favorite” or “fun” aunt.  She loved dogs, children, and most especially, everyone in her circle of family and friends.  She was considered the official "neighborhood mom." 

All throughout Patricia's battle with cancer these last few years, she courageously remained positive, and was always laughing and smiling. She was one of a kind, and has now found peace and release from pain.

Patricia will be Missed Dearly by all who know her. 

Besides her loving husband, Patricia is survived by her two children: Jenny Mucciacciaro , of Waterbury, Robert Mucciacciaro and Debbie Regan, of Cromwell, her brother, Roland Parent and his wife Noreen, of Waterbury, her sisters, Jeanne Paolino and her husband Vincent, of Florida, Rachel Brown and her husband Michael, of Kentucky, and Alice Ouellette, of Maine. She is also survived by her sister-in-laws, Elena Mirando and her husband Michael of Prospect, Mary Polletta and her husband Vito, of Middlebury, and her loving granddaughter, Sophia Claire.

A Funeral Service will be held at 8:00 am, on Wednesday, August 8, 2018, from Colasanto Funeral Home, 932 Bank St. Waterbury, to St. Patrick Church, Parish of St. Blaise, 50 Charles St., Waterbury, for a Mass of Christian Burial, at 10:30 am. Burial will be private. Family and friends may call at the funeral home from 8:00 am to 10:00 am, on Wednesday, August 8, 2018
