Peter J. Adamaitis, 92, of Waterbury, passed away peacefully on March 24, 2018, at RegalCare at Waterbury. He was the husband of the late Louise (Namikas) Adamaitis.

He was born on June 21, 1925, in Waterbury, son of the late Dominic and Susan (Ragauskas) Adamaitis.

Peter was a U.S. Marine, and proudly served during WWII.

He is survived by his brother, Edward Adamaitis, and several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his son, Peter Adamaitis, his sister Mary (Adamaitis) Rassmussen, his brother George Adomaitis, and his brother Charles Adamaitis, who also served during WWII, and gave his life in service to his country, on the island of Saipan.
