Salvatore Pasquale Fiore

Salvatore Pasquale Fiore, 89, of Waterbury, passed away peacefully, on Thursday, September 19, 2019, at Glendale Center, Naugatuck.

He was born in Waterbury, on November 14, 1929, the son of Thomas and Ann Fiore.

Salvatore was a Veteran, having served in the United States Naval Air Force from 1950 to 1954.

He was the owner of Scotty's Lounge, and Tucker Motors in Waterbury, where he truly enjoyed spending time with his customers. He also enjoyed sitting on the back porch and visiting with friends.

Salvatore was the Greatest Dad in the Whole World, and lovingly known to his son as "Big T Rex." He was quite a character who readily shared his great sense of humor. He will be Greatly Missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his son, Thomas M. Fiore, and longtime caregiver, friend, and extended family member, Mary Book.

A Graveside Service with Full Military Honors will be held at 10:00 am, on Thursday, September 26, at Calvary Cemetery, 2324 East Main St, Waterbury. Calling hours will be held from 5:00 pm, to 7:00 pm, on Wednesday, September 25, at Colasanto Funeral Home, 932 Bank St, Waterbury.
