Alice I. (Diem) Robinson

Alice I. Robinson 84, of Torrington, formerly of Waterbury, passed away on April 20, 2020, at Abbot Terrace Healthcare, in Waterbury. She was the widow of Francis Robinson.

She was born in Montbéliard, France, on June 25, 1935, the daughter of Norbert and Bertha (Vauthier) Diem.

Alice was a kind, thoughtful, and selfless woman. She was always very happy. She loved her family very much, and always loved spending time with her grandchildren. She also enjoyed watching the birds outside, especially the Cardinals  - they were her favorite. Alice enjoyed working and taking care of the flowers in her garden. She was also a creative person.

She leaves behind her three sons, Eddy (Lilian) Robinson, of Florida, Michael (Kim) Robinson, of RI, John (Fran) Robinson - whom she lived with, of Torrington, and her five grandchildren, Renée  Robinson, and her fiancé Michael, of MA, Amanda (Rafi) Perez, of MA, Joseph Robinson, of Waterbury, Zachary and Vincent Robinson, of Torrington, her great- grandchildren, Collette and  Michael Duran, of MA, She also leaves behind her three sisters, Lilian Evitts, of Oakville, Frances Smith, of Woodbury, Andrea Giannelli, of Westerly, RI, and her brother, Daniel Diem, of Hawaii.

Alice is predeceased by her brother, Richard Diem.

At the convenience of the family, a burial will be held at Calvary Cemetery.
