Bradley DeVito, 34, of Waterbury, passed away on Sunday, February 19, 2023.
Brad was born on July 7, 1988, in Waterbury, the son of Larry DeVito and Pat Sicard.
Brad was an athlete and avid sports fan. As a member of the Crosby Bulldog community, he played both baseball and basketball. On any given Sunday between September and February, anyone that knew Brad would know where to find him – watching football and cheering on his beloved Minnesota Vikings. During basketball season, you could find him rooting on the Golden State Warriors. He also enjoyed spending time on the golf course and fishing with friends. Brad was a respected member of the Laborers’ Union Local 611 and admired by his coworkers for his strong work ethic. But more than anything, his daughter, Adrienne, was the light of his life. Any time spent with her, whether playing basketball, soccer, or just hanging out was the best part of his day.
Brad leaves behind many to cherish his memory, his daughter Adrienne; parents Larry (Jaqui) DeVito and Pat Sicard; sister Brooke (Rick) Savelli; step sisters Adalia and Ariellea Paredes; grandmother Mary Ann DeVito, lifelong friends Jordan Montgomery, Mark Janatis and Suriel Vargas II, and Adrienne’s mother, Sihana Rizvani.
Family and friends are warmly invited to celebrate Brad’s life at Tuck’s Tavern (876 Rubber Avenue, Naugatuck) on April 2, 2023, for a short memorial at 1:00 PM, followed by a reception with the family.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you please consider donations to Adrienne’s college fund: http://go.fidelity.com/tz1tmv
