Clara E. (White) Pilla

Clara E. Pilla, 82, of Waterbury, passed away on March 23, 2020, at Waterbury Hospital. She was the wife of the late Frank M. Pilla.

She was born in Waterbury on November 24, 1937, the loving daughter of Robert and Lucy White.

Clara loved listening to music, especially country music. She loved dancing and singing on music nights. She enjoyed playing games - such as cards and bingo, doing puzzles, and reading. She was always there when needed to babysit for her grandchildren.

Clara is leaving behind her three children: son, Jeffery Pilla, and daughters, Dora Dionne, and Lisa Centinaro. She also leaves behind 9 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren.

She will be greatly missed.

"I am thankful for everything that you've ever done for me, and for always being there.,' wrote her grandson, Jeremy Dionne. "I love you, Grandma Clara. You will be missed.," from grandson Dan Dionne. Her son Jeff wrote, "Even though you are not here, you will always be with us." "I'm going to miss dancing with you, Gram.," said her great-grandson, Dallas Hall. "Gram was a loving person. One of the best people to be around. She always made us laugh. You will never be forgotten.," concluded her grandson, Justin Centinaro. We love you forever, Gram. Rest in Peace.
