Ernie Florio

A short man in stature who had a rough start
But he never gave up showing his courage and heart

He found his way to the Navy and the Korean War
It was his life until the end of fifty four

He did like the outdoors enjoying golf and fishing
And of course playing cards and the thrill of winning

After his discharge he worked as a union painter
When he meet a lovely woman and began to date her

He married Marie and his family quickly grew to four
While having the kids cousins living right next door

He was relaxed and carefree and brought no harm to anyone
A good long life he had with a little bit of fun

But it was his kids and grandkids who he was so very proud of
We are now looking back remembering that last hug

Rest in peace, you will be with us forever…
