Eunice E. (Voland) Nettleton

Woodbury - Mrs. Eunice E. Nettleton, 88, of Woodbury, passed peacefully in her sleep at her home on Monday morning, June 1, 2020. She was the wife of George M. Nettleton, who predeceased her in 2015, for 62 years.

She was born in Leominster, Massachusetts on June 9, 1931, daughter of the late Ernest and Marilla (Church) Voland. She has been a Woodbury resident for many years. She assisted her husband with running his business and raising their seven children.

Eunice leaves behind four sons, Timothy Nettleton, of Woodbury, G. Thomas Nettleton (Cynthia), of Shelton, Bryan Nettleton, of North Garden, VA, Matthew Nettleton (Gilah), of Spring Valley, NY, two daughters, Dawn Wilda and Dorothy (Kenneth) Sperry, both of Woodbury, one brother, Ernest Voland, of NC, 19 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her daughter, Jill (Nettleton) Jacobsen, of Woodbury, in 2008.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM at New North Cemetery, located on the west side of Washington Avenue, opposite the intersection of Linden Avenue and Church St.
