Gerald E. Pannoni

Gerald Ernest Pannoni, 82, of Waterbury, passed away on July 30, 2022. He was the loving husband, and best friend, of the late Lucille Angela Pannoni.

Gerald was born on June 5, 1940, the son of the late Ernest and Sarah Pannoni, and the brother of the late Paul Pannoni.

Gerald was a plumbing and HVAC technician by profession. He also served in the United States Army. He loved restoring classic cars, and attending car shows in his free time. He was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, and was a very active parent in OLMC School’s activities, by chaperoning field trips, and completing all photography for the yearbook.

He is survived by two sons, Christopher Pannoni, his wife, Malaura, and their daughter, Angela, and Michael Pannoni, and his wife, Jennifer, all of Waterbury. He is also survived by cousins, Gerard Pannoni, Marianne Petraca, Raymond Petraca, Edmund Pannoni, and his wife, Marianne, Mary Ann Malgari, and her husband, John, and Louis DiPietro, and his daughters, Sarah, Jenna, and Grace, and son Jack.

He is predeceased by Louis DiPietro's wife, Katherine Welsh, and cousin, Peter Petraca.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, August 9, 2022, from 4-6PM, at Colasanto Funeral Home, 932 Bank Street, Waterbury. Burial is private, and at the convenience of the family.
