Obituary

Helen Francine Verrier, 88, of Waterbury, passed away on Saturday, January 8, 2022, at Glendale Health Center, in Naugatuck, CT.

She was born in Waterbury, CT, on November 12, 1933, the loving daughter of John Paul and Margaret Mary (Sperauskas) Walukas.

Helen was a hard worker all her life, and over the years, she worked for many employers. Her favorite, though, was Bradlees Department Store, where she worked as a Manager for 38 years.

Most of all, Helen truly enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She loved to take them on weekends to search for treasures at various tag sales. She enjoyed being with people, and was kind to everyone.

She is survived by her son, Nicholas Verrier, her grandchildren, Michael Verrier, and Denise Verrier, her great-grandchildren, Luca Crocco, and Siena Crocco, and several nieces and nephews.

There will be an 11:00 am Graveside Service, on January 14, 2022, at Mount Olivet Cemetery, 669 Platt Road, Watertown.
