Lucille (Santoro) Keavney, 84, of Waterbury, passed away on October 14, 2017, at Waterbury Hospital.
She was born in Waterbury, on November 12, 1932, the loving daughter of Domenic and Rose (Genova) Santoro.
Lucille graduated from Wilby High School in 1950, and went on to serve in the WAC in Baltimore, MD, during the Korean War.
She worked at Department of Social Security, and then an additional 25 years as a State of Connecticut employee.
Lucille enjoyed doing the crossword puzzles every day in the newspaper, reading, and she loved watching “Law and Order.” She loved traveling to various states, including Hawaii, and she crossed the country on Amtrack.
She is survived by her sons, William, Bruce, and Scott McEntee, of Waterbury, and her grandchildren, Atty. Bryan McEntee, of Waterbury, Dr. Eryn McEntee, of Seattle, Washington, Caitlin McEntee, of Washington, and Conor McEntee, of Waterbury.
A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, October 17, 2017, from 8:30 am to 9:30 am, at Colasanto Funeral Home, 932 Bank Street, Waterbury, followed by a 10:00 am Mass of Christian Burial, at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 309 South Main St., Waterbury. Burial is private.
