Michael C. Brown

Michael C. Brown, 78, of Waterbury, pasted away peacefully, on August 15, 2023, in Hospice Care, at St. Mary’s Hospital, Waterbury, CT.

Michael was born in Waterbury, on May 11, 1945, the son of Charles and Anile (Yakutavich) Brown.

He was a graduate of St. Joseph’s Elementary School, and Leavenworth High School. He was a veteran, having served in the United States Navy.

Michael loved and nurtured the many cats and dogs that he and Denise had. He was passionate about trout fishing, an avid reader, and an excellent cook. He was a loving and caring person to all of his family and friends,  and was always ready to offer a helping hand.

He will be greatly missed and forever loved by all.

Michael is survived by his life-long partner, Denise Benson, his sister, Barbara (Brown) Rodriguez, of Troy, NY, his niece, Roberta Rodriguez, of Albany, NY, his grand-niece, Natasha (Rodriguez) Bacchus, of Pittsburgh, PA, and his nephew, Alfred (Fred) Rodriguez, of Ravena, NY, among other relatives and friends.

He was predeceased by his parents, Charles F. Brown, and Anile (Nellie) (Yakutavich) Brown.
