Raymond Sasso Obituary

Raymond F. Sasso, 83, of Waterbury, passed away on April 18, 2020, at Waterbury Hospital.

He was born on June 8, 1936, in Waterbury, the son of Charles and Madeline (Vechione) Sasso. He attended Dugan Elementary School, and graduated from Crosby High School. Raymond worked for Cheshire Public Schools as a custodian, until his retirement.

Raymond was a dedicated parishioner of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, attending Mass every Sunday. He was also a member of the Holy Name Society. Raymond had a passion for the annual Mount Carmel Feast, and he dedicated many years to volunteering to help with it. He enjoyed bowling on Thursday mornings. One of Raymond's biggest loves was the beach, and he spent many years at his home in Milford.

He leaves behind the Love of His Life for the past 21 years, Patricia (Granato) Brennan-Sasso, and her daughters, Teresa, and her husband Anthony, Massaro, and Eileen Couture. He also leaves behind five grandchildren, one great-granddaughter, and several nieces and nephews.

He is predeceased by his brothers, Charles Sasso II, and Robert Sasso.

A private Graveside Service will be held at Calvary Cemetery, on Thursday, April 23.
