Robert Wills Obituary

Robert Elmer Wills, 87, of Wolcott, passed away peacefully on January 28, 2019, at St. Mary's Hospital.

He was born in Providence, RI, on November 21, 1931, the son of Raymond and Anna (Cronin) Wills.

For all of his days, and right up to the end of his life, Robert truly was a man who cared deeply for his family and friends above all else. He spent his life working hard and following the values that he always preached. Whether it was his lifelong commitment to the Elk's and Hibernian clubs, his longtime career as a truck driver or in his two years serving in the military during the Korean War, one thing that can be said about Robert is that he was always loyal and caring to those around him. He was strong-willed, and unequivocally proud of his Irish heritage right up to the end. This personality, these traits, and his pride are carried on by his family and friends.

While he is the last remaining of four brothers, his legacy is fostered and carried on in his children; Robert W. Wills, William J. Wills, Brian T. Wills, Kimberly Wills-Rinaldi, and Kevin Wills, in addition to his seven grandchildren, and a great-grandchild.

Now that his suffering has finally ended, he will be able to again spend time with his most-loved ones, including his parents, his brothers, his first wife, Joan (Wills) Anderson,  his second wife, Maryann(Wills)Magnotti, and his lifelong partner, Ruth Marzano.

Rest in Peace, Robert. Your family and friends will be waiting to see you again, and hopefully, you can now sit down and have a drink, while we celebrate your life.
