Tina Marie Meehan

Tina Marie Meehan, 52, of Prospect, was called home to be with her Lord, on October 31, 2018. She was surrounded by her Loving Family, and her Best Friend, Ticia Chausse.

She was born on December 21, 1965, at Edward Air Force Base, California, the Beloved Daughter of Timothy (Sr.) and Jean (Bennett) Meehan.

Tina graduated from Wilby High School, where she was a cheerleader. She went on to earn her Bachelor Degree in Accounting from Stone Academy. She worked various jobs over the years previous to her illness.

Tina loved to travel with her parents, and party with her friends. She truly lived life to the fullest. She was an active member in the community - 25 year member of the Prospect Grange, Pomona State and National Grange, member of the Eagles Club, VFW Post 7790 Auxiliary, and Past Secretary and member of the Prospect Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary.

Besides her parents, she leaves behind her brother, Timothy Meehan, Jr. and his wife, Beatrice, of Prospect, two nieces, Tisa-Lynn (Meehan) Wilson and her fiancé', David Dugan, of Prospect, and Marcia (Meehan) Gaspar and her husband, Marco, of South Carolina, three great-nieces; Sherry, Victoria, and Brianna, and great-nephew, Ayden, all of Prospect. She also leaves behind two aunts; Hazel Meehan, of Woodbury, and Frances Maxwell, of Plymouth, along with many cousins from all across the country.

A funeral service will be held at 8:30 am, on Saturday, November 10, 2018, at Colasanto Funeral Home, 932 Bank St., Waterbury, followed by a10:00am graveside service at Prospect Cemetery. Friends and family may call at the funeral home, on Friday, November 9, 2018, from 5:00pm to 8:00pm.
