William LeRose, 94, of Waterbury, died peacefully on Sunday, August 14, 2016, with his granddaughter and great- granddaughter by his side at Glendale Health Care Center. He was the husband of the late Loretta (Brodeur) LeRose.
Mr. LeRose was born in Waterbury,CT, on April 15, 1922, son of the late Frank and Elizabeth (Marzano) LeRose.
He served in WWII and Korea. He retired from Scovill’s Manufacturing, after 42 years.
William is survived by three sons, William LeRose and his wife Roxanne of Maine, Richard LeRose of Thomaston, and Mark LeRose and his wife Judith of Palm City, Florida, one brother, Frank LeRose and his wife Ann, four sisters Peggy Stoto, Marie Guisto, Evelyn Diflono and Phyllis Griswold, six grandchildren, five great- grandchildren and one great great- granddaughter and several nieces and nephews.
He made his home with his granddaughter Deb Giesen and her husband Jim.
A Funeral service will be held at 10am on Wednesday, August 17, 2016, at Colasanto Funeral Home, 932 Bank St., Waterbury. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. Friends and family may call at the funeral home, from 8:30am until time of service.
